Prime Highlights:

  • Jensen Huang called OpenClaw “the next ChatGPT,” highlighting a major shift toward systems that can perform tasks, not just respond.
  • Nvidia introduced NemoClaw to make the platform secure and ready for large-scale business use.

Key Facts:

  • OpenClaw is an open-source platform that allows systems to complete tasks, make decisions, and work with minimal human input.
  • NemoClaw is built with added safeguards and tools to ensure safe, controlled, and scalable deployment for companies.

Background:

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has identified a fast-growing AI project, OpenClaw, as a major shift in how people will use artificial intelligence, saying it could become “the next ChatGPT.” Speaking on Mad Money during Nvidia’s GTC event in California, Huang said the technology signals a move from AI systems that answer questions to ones that can independently take action.

OpenClaw is an open-source platform that enables autonomous AI agents to perform tasks, make decisions, and operate with minimal user input. Unlike traditional chatbots, these agents can learn processes, improve outputs, and complete complex assignments on their own. Huang described it as one of the most successful open-source developments to date, reflecting rapid adoption and strong developer interest.

To build on this momentum, Nvidia has introduced NemoClaw, a version designed for businesses. It uses Nvidia’s software tools to make the system secure and able to handle large-scale use. The company aims to make the technology suitable for real-world business use by adding privacy safeguards, monitoring tools, and stronger control mechanisms.

Huang emphasized that the technology could significantly expand individual capabilities. He said users can create personal tools with very little coding and give them tasks like designing, researching, or analysis. These agents can study information, refine their work, and deliver improved results without constant supervision.

He said the technology could help people in different jobs improve their skills and work more efficiently. However, its fast growth has raised concerns about security, privacy, and control as these systems start to act on their own.

Nvidia is adding safeguards through NemoClaw to reduce these risks. As more companies start using such tools, keeping them safe and under control will be important for future growth.
