Samsung Electronics has held its 2026 Tech Forum in Silicon Valley to present its AI vision and deepen research ties with local technology talent.
The company hosted the eighth edition of the event at Samsung Research America in Mountain View. About 80 people attended, including lead developers from global IT firms and senior Samsung executives.
The forum builds on the “Your Everyday AI Companion” vision Samsung unveiled at CES 2026. Roh Tae-moon, President and Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division, led the executive team.
Lee Won-jin, Head of the Visual Display Business, Chief Technology Officer Yoon Jang-hyun and Choi Won-joon, Chief Operating Officer of the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business, joined him.
Yoon gave the keynote and explained how next-generation AI and robotics will work together. He said robots that operate in the physical world, beyond simple software upgrades, will help complete everyday innovation.
Roh said AI is changing how consumers experience technology. He said it can deliver personal experiences in every space where people live their daily lives. He added that Samsung aims to lead the shift by giving customers the best AI experience.
Samsung plans to use the network it built at the forum to strengthen its research and development. Talks with local developers should help the company move closer to its long-term AI goals.
Attendees reviewed Samsung’s technology roadmap and discussed strategy and cooperation in a fast-changing global IT market. Samsung will keep expanding contact with talent at global technology hubs to secure core future technologies.
