Key Background

Tata Motors widens its electric vehicle lineup with the debut of the Harrier EV Stealth Edition—a limited production run of its top-of-the-line electric SUV. The Stealth Edition, rooted in the company’s sophisticated Acti-EV platform, boasts a distinctive matte black paint color dubbed “Stealth Black,” blacked-out piano black alloy wheels, and distinctive exterior design features that amplify its sporty and aggressive nature.

Inside the SUV is also offered with an all-black Carbon Noir-interior treatment complete with dark leatherette upholstery, voice-command-enabled panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and premium material finishes on all counts. Stealth Edition is equipped with Tata’s latest-generation infotainment system—a big Neo QLED display screen—along with an Harman Kardon audio system, digital driver’s display, and wireless connectivity features.

It is driven by a 75 kWh battery pack and comes in RWD and QWD (two-motor All-Wheel Drive) variants. The flagship QWD version produces a powerful performance figure of 391 hp and 504 Nm torque. 0-100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds only, which is one of the quickest EVs in its segment. The car features a remarkable MIDC-certified driving range of up to 627 km, perfect for city or highway driving.

The battery is recharged from 0–80% in about 25 minutes using a 120 kW DC charger. This means that there is little downtime and absolute comfort for everyday as well as extended driving.

The Harrier EV Stealth Edition features Level 2 ADAS safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind-spot monitoring, and emergency braking. It also comes with a 540° surround-view camera system to make driving and parking safer.

Placed as a top-end product in the EV SUV category, Harrier EV Stealth Edition is priced at ₹28.24 lakh (ex-showroom). With its breathtaking looks, latest technology, robust powertrain, and world-class safety features, this limited-volume product sets new standards for electric SUVs in India.
