Background-
Gant Travel Management has rolled out the Gant Self-Service Platform, a new digital tool built to support business travellers throughout their journeys. The platform brings together travel resources and support in one place, covering upcoming trip details, invoices, profile information, travel insights and other essential information.
The platform also brings proactive travel disruption intelligence into the mix through a partnership with Proton, the company behind the Lumo AI travel assistant.
The Lumo assistant automatically notifies travellers when their flights face disruption, helping them stay ahead of delays, cancellations and other interruptions, while also delivering timely alerts and intelligence updates along the way.
Bala Chandran, Co-Founder and CEO of Lumo, said business travellers now expect the same proactive guidance they experience elsewhere in their daily lives.
He noted that Gant shares Lumo’s view that disruption management should put the traveller first, and said combining Lumo’s real-time disruption intelligence with Gant’s self-service tools and expert agent support helps travellers make faster, informed decisions while keeping human expertise available whenever needed.
The launch positions Gant to meet growing demand among business travellers for tools that combine self-service convenience with real-time support, as travel companies increasingly turn to AI-driven solutions to manage disruptions and improve the overall travel experience.
