Background :

Enterprise technology platform Xpander has raised $7.5 million in a Seed funding round led by Pico Venture Partners, with Emerge Ventures, Samsung Next and SeedIL also taking part.

The company will use the new funding to expand its market presence and develop its platform, which allows businesses to build and manage AI systems across different cloud providers, models and existing technology setups.

Xpander also introduced Omni, an enterprise AI agent designed to handle complex tasks and support autonomous workflows. The company said Omni achieved a 90.9% score on the GAIA benchmark.

The funding comes as many businesses continue to struggle to move AI beyond early testing. Research cited by Xpander from McKinsey found that 88% of organisations use AI, but only 1% consider their deployment mature, while about two-thirds remain focused on pilot projects.

Xpander aims to address this gap through infrastructure that combines AI deployment with security, governance and compliance. Its platform allows companies to run AI agents within their own environments without replacing their existing infrastructure.

The company was founded by David Twizer, Ran Sheinberg and Moriel Pahima and is already used by enterprises across retail, manufacturing, financial services, technology and government.

Xpander said its platform can support individual AI assistants, team-built agents and wider AI integration across business processes.

The company plans to use the latest investment to accelerate adoption and support its expansion as enterprises look for practical ways to move AI into everyday operations.
