Background-
Hyatt Hotels and Spotnana have relaunched Hyatt Leverage, the hotel group’s program for small and midsize businesses, the companies announced.
The upgraded platform offers discounted rates at more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels. Administrators also receive a central dashboard where they can make bookings, oversee reservations and follow what the company spends, pays and saves. They can also load traveler profiles, set travel policies and approval rules, and apply rate caps for specific destinations.
Individual travelers can book, cancel and modify stays on their own, with an experience that matches Hyatt’s consumer channels. Companies can also book for guests using a central credit card. Clients can combine Leverage rates with local rates they have negotiated with individual hotels.
Hyatt first launched Leverage in 2018, offering discounts of 5% to 15% through Hyatt.com and its reservation centers. Spotnana’s Luigi Tiberio said the partnership took about two years to build.
Alice Harrington-Caravello, Hyatt’s senior vice president of global sales and Americas commercial services, said small and midsize businesses remain a critical segment for Hyatt and the wider business travel market.
Administrators and travelers must now join World of Hyatt to enroll. Companies need at least 50 room nights a year to qualify. The program stays focused on Hyatt hotel bookings, and some existing clients have already moved to the new platform.
