Key Background
MINI India has launched a dramatic new addition to its electric line-up—the Countryman E John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack. Limited to a run-of-only 20 in India, this special edition of the Countryman E is priced at ₹62 lakh (ex-showroom). The Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit lends an air of exclusivity for MINI fans who want the best of electrification and performance-oriented looks.
Propelling the Countryman E JCW is a 66.45 kWh lithium-ion battery charged in combination with a front-mounted electric motor that produces 204 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The SUV goes 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed of 170 km/h. At full charge, it has an amazing driving range of 462 km based on the WLTP cycle.
In terms of charging, it supports both AC and DC options. A 130 kW DC fast charger takes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 29 minutes, while an 11 kW AC charger fully recharges the battery in approximately 6.4 hours.
The JCW Pack introduces a number of distinctive styling features to differentiate it. It comes in Legend Grey and Midnight Black, with JCW-specific black racing stripes, reworked bumpers, checkered grille, and gloss-black trim. It rides on fashion-inspired 19-inch JCW Runway Spoke alloy wheels.
Inside, cabin sporty luxury is enhanced by JCW-spec sports seats trimmed in Vescin and cord upholstery, red-thread stitching, a JCW wheel, and lots of tech. These range from a 9.4-inch round OLED infotainment system, head-up display, Harman Kardon sound, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, to Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera.
While performance numbers are unchanged from the regular Countryman E, the JCW Pack adds visual and driving personality to the SUV. Bookings have opened with an advance amount of ₹1.5 lakh, and deliveries will start from June 10, 2025.
The model provides an exciting combination of high-end electric performance with the MINI racing signature—aimed at collectors and enthusiasts both.
